At Faith Community Church of the Nazarene, we take children’s faith seriously. Our Children’s Ministry serves Nursery (birth–3yrs), WeeChurch (PreK-K), and 1st–6th grade, providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for kids to learn and grow. All children’s ministry workers are background-checked and Ministry Safe certified, so parents can feel confident their children are well cared for.
Through engaging Bible lessons, worship, small group activities, and hands-on experiences, children learn Biblical truths, develop prayer habits, study Scripture, and grow in a personal relationship with God. They also discover what it means to be part of the church and learn to serve others from an early age.
Kids also enjoy special programs like Bible Quizzing, Vacation Bible School, camps, Christmas musicals, and other events throughout the year—making faith both meaningful and fun!
At Faith Community Church of the Nazarene, our Youth Group (7th–12th grade) meets Sundays at 9:30 am and Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm in a safe, welcoming environment where teens are known, valued, and encouraged in their walk with Christ. All youth leaders are background‑checked and Ministry Safe certified, giving parents confidence that their teens are cared for with integrity and spiritual intentionality.
We’re committed to helping students grow in Bible knowledge and application, learn how to study Scripture deeply, understand their identity in Christ, and disciple others—including younger kids. Through engaging Bible study, worship, games, and meaningful conversations, teens are equipped to serve the Body of Christ and our community.
Our Youth Group also participates in exciting spiritual growth and fellowship opportunities like camps, retreats, worship nights, teen‑led services, and MidAmerica Xtreme (MAX) at MidAmerica Nazarene University—a regional event where teens connect with others, compete in activities, and grow spiritually together.
We make room for fun, community, and faith—feeding snacks, asking about their lives, and helping teens explore a deeper, lifelong relationship with Jesus.
At Faith Community Church of the Nazarene, our Adult Ministries provide multiple ways for adults to connect, grow, and serve. On Sunday mornings, our Adult Sunday School classes explore a variety of topics—including holiness, in-depth Bible studies, and practical book studies—helping participants grow in knowledge and faith.
We also offer Wednesday night adult classes, along with Men’s and Women’s Groups and other specialized ministries, all designed to foster spiritual maturity, equip believers to serve, and encourage meaningful impact in our community.
